The core underlying issue is that when people get abused in their childhood, they feel that it happened a long time back and that they are over it or maybe it is not that significant matter. But as a fact, child abuse is not acceptable, and it is not at all healthy as well. There are four kinds of child abuse - Physical abuse, sexual abuse, emotional abuse, and intellectual abuse. There are millions of cases of child abuse reported every month. While some of these are actually reported to the authorities, there is absolutely no figure of how many go unreported. Childhood abuse can be anything starting from sexual boundary violation, emotional and social maltreatment, physical abuse, injustice and avoidance of physical and medical needs. The blog highlights the various causes. This usually happens because parents happen to enjoy inflicting pain to their kids. The only way to decrease or eradicate this social issue is by providing parenting classes and anger management services for parents. These services can be provided to an individual or to the entire family as well. There are number of in-patient and out-patient facilities which try and lessen the effect this emotional abuse has on the life of the kid. Healing is possible and there are number of ways kids can get the support and can heal themselves.
